Kimiko Chan is a designer in San Francisco, who after completing her studies at the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, and working for 9 years under various design studios, decided in 1990 it was time to take the leap and launch her own studio. She takes great delight in working with her artisan winery and corporate clients, and uses design to express luxurious, fresh and compelling visual solutions to her clients’ packaging and print needs. Her love for design has earned her numerous awards, including a Clio Award for Best of U.S. Packaging, Wines and Liquors, a Clio Award Finalist, Packaging Design, Graphis Design Annual, and work featured in The Best of Brochure Design 10 and Communication Arts Magazine.
Born and raised in San Francisco, Kimiko loves experiencing the California outdoors, the trials and triumphs of motherhood, Masters Swimming, a wicked sense of humor, baking for family and friends, knitting, a leisurely cup of coffee, and settling down with a good book and her cat on her lap. She lives in San Francisco with her husband, two sons, and adopted cow cat, Pepper.
